Jeffrey R. Stefforia, CPA, Partner

Jeff is president and a shareholder of Stefforia, Petik & Carlson, CPAs and is a graduate of Walsh College, Troy, Michigan. Jeff is a licensed CPA in the State of Michigan since 1991.

For more than 30 years, Jeff has provided audit, accounting, tax and consulting services to clients in many different industries including manufacturing, franchising, retail and wholesale.

Jeff is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Washtenaw Estate Planning Council. He has been the treasurer and vice-chair of the Alzheimer’s Association, Michigan Great Lakes Chapter, treasurer of The Neutral Zone, an Ann Arbor teen leadership development organization and is currently the treasurer for Our House, a Washtenaw County based not-for-profit focused on helping young individuals, aged 14 -25-years-old, successfully transition from foster care to adulthood. Tim Petik, CPA, Partner

Tim is a shareholder of Stefforia, Petik & Carlson, CPAs and is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan. Tim is a licensed CPA in the State of Michigan since 1995.

Tim has over 30 years’ experience assisting small businesses, individuals, non-profits and quasi-governmental entities in achieving their financial goals. Tim has a wide range of accounting and tax experience, in industries including manufacturing, construction, retail, service and not-for-profit. Tim is well-versed and has provided tax consulting services for individuals, “S” and “C” corporations and LLCs.

Tim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He has also served as Treasurer for the Livingston County Chapter of the American Red Cross and Washtenaw Area Community Advocacy.

Kirk M. Carlson, MBA, CPA, Partner

Kirk is a shareholder of Stefforia, Petik & Carlson, CPAs and is an MBA graduate from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. He also has a Bachelor’s in International Relations, James Madison College, Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan. Kirk is a licensed CPA in the State of Michigan since 1993.

Prior to joining the firm Kirk managed his own CPA firm for ten years and worked for several Metro Detroit businesses over that last twenty years as their senior financial manager. Kirk has been an Associate Professor at Walsh College in Troy and a Lecturer in Wayne State University’s School of Business and has taught introductory financial accounting, managerial accounting and accounting information systems courses.

Kirk is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

An avid runner, Kirk has finished 16 marathons, including running the Detroit Marathon six times. He is married and has three adult children.

Ryan Mccollough, MA, CPA, Manager

Ryan is a senior accountant of Stefforia, Petik & Carlson, CPA’s and is a Master of Science in Accounting graduate from Eastern Michigan University. His other academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Michigan State University and two Associate Degrees from Oakland Community College. Ryan is a licensed CPA in the State of Michigan since 2017.

Ryan has over 10 years of public accounting experience, which includes providing tax services to businesses, individuals, and not-for-profits in both international and domestic settings.

Ryan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He participated in the A2Y Chamber Leadership program and attributes this experience to additional insight of the local community. He is also a notary, public appointed in the State of Michigan.

When he is not crunching numbers, he enjoys outdoor recreational activities with his wife and kids including cycling, hunting, fishing, and visiting the family cottage near Lake Huron.

Brian Winters, Manager

Brian is a staff accountant of Stefforia, Petik & Carlson, CPAs. He is an accounting graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan. He also holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Brian started his accounting career with the firm over ten years ago. He has a wide range of accounting and tax experience and works with clients in many different industries including manufacturing, franchising, retail and wholesale.

Brian and his girlfriend enjoy traveling and he and his four kids enjoy time outdoors especially riding bikes and geocaching.

Anna Sieffert, MA, CPA, Senior Accountant

Anna is a senior accountant at Stefforia, Petik & Carlson, CPA’s and has a Master of Accountancy from Davenport University, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her other academic achievement is a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Davenport University. Anna is a licensed CPA in the State of Michigan since 2020.

She has over 5 years of public accounting experience, which includes providing tax services to a wide variety of clients including businesses and individuals.
Anna is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, or participating in outdoor recreational activities including riding bikes, hunting, fishing, and hiking.

Jadyn Barga, Staff Accountant

Jadyn is a staff accountant of Stefforia, Petik & Carlson, CPAs. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan. Jadyn started her accounting career with the firm. Jadyn plans to continue her education to earn her CPA license.

During her spare time, Jadyn enjoys going to sporting events, attending summer concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
